UICC World Cancer Congress 2006

This presentation will focus on three sets of considerations:: first, the system-wide problems that limit access to high-quality health care in the United States; second, the impacts of these system-wide issues on access to high-quality cancer care specifically; and, third, the potential effects of proposed options for system-wide policy changes on access to high-quality cancer care. The presentation will conclude with observations regarding the implications of the foregoing analysis for policies affecting access to high-quality cancer care in other nations.
