Primary and Secondary Prevention in Cancer Control

Objective: Prevention is better than Cure. As the deaths due to Non Communicable Diseases are increasing an integrated approach is needed to prevent the same. Cancer is one of them preventable by awareness on Primary and Secondary Prevention.

Methods: Modified version of data samples were used to generate awareness amongst the School Children and the Masses regarding the same.

Results:

Last years results No. of Institutions Covered: 1009 No. of Volunteers : 675000 No. of People contacted: 13.5 Million Financial Assistance to Patients: 132 New Patients for Palliative Care
