The Leadership Clinic This session focuses on what leadership is and how you can develop a stronger set of leadership abilities. We'll give you access to some of the latest thinking in development leadership and show how you can be more effective as someone who has to motivate challenge inspire and challeneg boards, colleagues and volunteers.

The workshop is based on Bernard Ross' work with a number of high profile charity and ngo leaders worldwide and drwas on hic book Breakthrough Thinking- voted best non-profit management book in the USA 2004. Topics include: •what is leadership and how can we develop it to improve our results? •how to become an emotionally intelligent (and rationally intelligent) leader •the key characteristics o transformational leadership in development *sharing vision in bizarre and powerful ways to create passion and inspiration * the importance of focus and direction in defining startegy and results
