The International Relay For Life program of the American Cancer Society is a fund-raising event which enables cancer leagues around the world to increase their visibility and generate cancer awareness, outreach, and income while building survivorship, volunteerism and advocacy efforts in their communities. The Society works in partnership with the Union International Contre le Cancer (UICC) to train and support leagues to launch sustainable community based Relay For Life programs. International Relay For Life is now in 24 countries. Presenters will share information on the resources, partners and key techniques needed to conduct this type of event.
