Constructing a useful global database of evidence on effectiveness

Objective: To discuss the needs of countries across the world for a database on evidence of effectiveness of different methods to encourage and help with smoking cessation.
Methods: Review of evidence and analysis.
Results: A proposal for a global evidence database will be presented with examples for particular interventions.
