Objective: 1. To analyze & describe the current media approaches & their limitations. 2. To demonstrate new media applications & strategies for anti tobacco movements.
Methods: Methods used are mainly individual & focus Group interviews through open & closed questionnaires, participant & situation observations, field notes, review of secondary documents & statistical analysis.
Results: 1. Areas of limitation & improvements required in the current anti tobacco media approach of Bangladesh. 2. Possible approaches & strategies for proper utilization of new medias for effective anti tobacco campaigns & behaviour change communications. 3. Recommendations for future action.
