The 13th World Conference on Tobacco OR Health

Objective: The objective of this study is to determine perceptions, knowledge and level of current engagement of the professionals of health in Niger Republic in order to lead them to begin in the fight against the tobacco in a country where all is priority in the areas public health.

Methods: A structured questionnaire will be administrated to all socio-professional categories according to various levels' (national, regional and district of health as well in rural zone and urban zone).

Results:

only 8%of the respondants perceived tobacco as a major problem of public health The majority (75%)of the professionals of health had no knowledge about the stratégie of tobacco control
