Objective: Tobacco is recognized and legalised selling product in the world that kills more than half of its consumers and in addition constitutes a real source of misery to most other consumers and non - consumers. Tobacco industries are killing millions to make billions around the globe considering the havoc that tobacco causes to the direct and indirect consumers. Increase in dicotomy between the concept of encouraging foreign direct investors {FDI},which three world class tobacco giants have exploited to enter in to the country {Nigeria} and shop for the lifes of the youth,women and young adult. Exposing the prime target which are youths to the temptation of smoking and consumption of tobacco products, the foregoing has assumed a particular foreboding protent for the future of the country { Nigeria} and the world at large.

Methods: Tobacco companies have become a threat to our democracy and economy in africa as they are moving in with their enormous wealth with which they compromise the public health initiatives. They are experts in deceptive adverts,marketing and promotions. Our youths,women and children are their prime target. They use snookers {pool} competition; music; souveniars and electronics to spread tobacco addiction.

Results: Tobacco not only improverishes many of those who use it, it puts an enormous finacial burden on countries.The costs of tobacco use to countries include increased health-care cost,lost productivity due to illness and early death,foreign-exchange losses,lost revenues on smuggled cigarettes and environment degradation by tobacco plant leaches nutrients from the soil,as well as pollution from pesticides and fertilizers applied to tobacco fields.
