Using Economic Policies as a Tool against Tobacco Consumption

Objective:

Participants will be able to understand that putting high taxes on tobacco products will reduce production and consumption

understand that ban should be placed on tobacco advertisements

Methods:

Taxation is probably the most effective means of reducing tobacco consumption. moreover, raising the prices of tobacco products will inversely reduce it's production and consumption.

Economic policies such as bans on advertisements on tobacco products and promotion on the grounds that these acts increases the gross demand for tobacco or since advertisements are means of promoting sales, high charges should be pu on them thereby reducing public interest.

Results:

high taxes inversely reduce tobacco production and consumption. ban on tobacco adverts drastically reduce public interests thereby it's production.
