| How to Bring Students and Professionals in the Health Care Sector to the Cause to Tobacco Prevention and Cessation (Part 1) | |||
| The workshop will focus on the potential role of health professionals in the prevention and cessation of tobacco use beginning with their formative years. Special attention will be focused on activities in developing countries. This workshop will be interactive allowing participants to discuss their experiences as well as their vision for possible activities. Topics will include an overview of the current challenges relating to the involvement of health professionals based on the best evidence available, research methodologies that can be applied by participants in their own environment to guide their activities and what specific actions can be taken to involve professionals in the educational, preparatory, action and evaluation phases. | |||
